The Beach Girls and the Monster- 1965
Starring-Jon Hall

This film starts out with beautiful girls in bikini's dancing to Frank Sinatra Jr's Dance, Baby, Dance. You know you're in for a treat. After the song you see a group of surfers playing around and dancing. Then a girl makes a "sand dog" (a hot dog with sand on top) for her boyfirend. He chases her and eventually gives up. The girl wanders off to be killed by a "monster".
Soon after, the cops arrive and find the monsters' tracks. They make a mold for Dr. Otto Lindsay (Jon Hall) who immediatly identifies them as the Antigua fish (but fish dont have feet!). So the story switches to his son Richard Lindsay (Arnold Lessing) who misses the girl killed and is upset about his step-mother Vicky (Sue Casey) who is a real bitch.
So Richard goes to the pool and invites his friend Mark (Walker Edmiston who he hurt his leg in a car accident previous the movie) to swim to help his leg. But he goes to doodle off. Just to note, this story is very conveluted. Otto is angry because Richard dosnt work in the lab after the accident with Mark. So, after Otto and Vicky argue for a while, the kids party on the beach in the night. From there, they sing some more. The kids disperse but one has to go back to get a towel. The guy is attacked by the "monster" and is killed. Coincidently, Mark walks by and the guys girlfriend blames Mark for Killing him.
So, Vicky walks into the house and is promptly killed. Mark goes up to the house and is attacked by the "monster" too. Richard follows too and punches the monster and is there when Mark Dies.
WARNING:SPOILERS AHEAD
So, the "Monster"s mask is knocked off and its....Otto! Apparently he wanted to kill all the surfers so his son would be scared away. So Otto gets in his car and drives away. Richard gets in the cops car and follows suit. You have a 3 minute driving scene until Otto drives off a clif. His car explodes and the end is here.
Sadly, they dont make films like this anymore. No,nudity, not much violence, and is just fun.
Overall, this is a fun film. If you have a boring day with nothing to do, Pop this disk in and enjoy the splendor of "The Beach Girls and the Monster".
