Seems like I have a bastard of a problem with my guitar. When I play the 5 and fourth strings in the second fret, they vibrate horribly. I've been on a guitar forum seeking advice and was first told to change the strings. Which I did yesterday but the problem still remained. So now I'm t old that I should first get the truss rod checked and then the fret dressed if this does not solve the issue.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to get one fret dressed approximately? I was told by some guy that he paid $120 but I think he was referring to having all the frets dressed.

Hmm, approximately 22 frets. About ten bucks a fret, maybe. Not too sure, I have never had it done.
