I don't really care for how they just went and decided to flip a photo of a tree upside-down to use for the top of the cover, I'm not really sure what that guy in the center is doing (I'd say dancing), and the quote is kind of silly, but besides that, it went from a 4/10 cover to an 8/10 cover. Still, the best damn cover they could have used was the theatrical poster.  But, art doesn't sell anymore. |

I like that poster, but you're right about art not selling anymore. |

Ok, this is my favorite (sorry it's so small, it's the only image I could find). Julius Caesar (1970)  The text reads "Charlton Heston stars as Julius Caesar, General, Statesman, and Historian of ancient Rome." However, this is a film of Shakespeare's tragedy Julius Caesar, which as most of you probably know, does not "star" Julius Caesar himself, and in Caesar's brief appearances, shows little to none of his exploits as "General," and says nothing whatsoever about his capacity as "Historian." Better still, Charlton Heston does not even play Julius Caesar...! He plays Mark Anthony. The cover image, moreover, is a bad composite of Heston as Anthony at the Battle of Philippi with a stock-photo Roman architectural backdrop not seen in the film. |

That is so funny, I hate when DVD's and other things lie like that, although I find it funny. There are many horror films that try that same crap, I will have to try and search for some. I don't even know why they would say that, they could have just said "Starring Charlton Heston" and not said who he played in the film at all, it wasn't even necessary to say anything more than that.

 First of all, the movie isnt called Plankton, its called Creatures From the Abyss. And the cover tells nothing about the movie! Its just a hot girl in a bikini with tentacles! |
