Probably my favorite band as of right now. There music is irresistible, especially live. I can't wait to hear the new album coming out in spring and I can't wait to see them 7 times. over the summer.

They haven't released the '07 touring schedule yet. But if Dave ends up touring this year with Tim Reynolds, then I will be seeing them if they come within 2 hours of Erie.

This is more of a conversation you should have had on AIM.
Oh well I really like DMB, but not as much as beed or blackmoses does. They are definitely one of the better bands nowadays and are great live, in fact better than on record. But really only have like 10 or less songs I find myself wanting to listen to over and over again. I would still love to see them live again, but much rather see Matisyahu, who was their opening band.

I've never heard of these guys before, so I'm very curious and interested to give 'em a try 'cos I frequently see their name pop up. What's their music all about?

They are a mix of jazz, jam rock, and folk music. Very hard to explain, you have to just hear them and judge them for yourself.

It just struck me how complex Two Step is on the studio recording. I mean live its relatively simple, but on Crash all the instruments come together and create such an unbelievable effect. One of the few songs DMB really mastered in the studio.
Have I said I can't wait for the new album yet? Because I am dying in anticpation. If it sucks like Stand Up, I may actually slit my wrists.

Have any of you head the new songs yet? If you haven't look up Idea of You, Break Free, Shotgun, Can't Stop and Sister online. Shotgun is mindblowing if you get the later versions. If Batson fucks it up on the CD im gonna be so pissed.

Two Step is my favorite DMB song, both versions I can listen to many times, which is something I can't say for most DMB songs.
One time I was waiting for my parents in the car playing music, and some guys were also waiting in their cars and I started blasting Two Step live version and everyone rolled their windows down and started listening, it was awesome.

They are the best band for your money in concert. Plus tickets are pretty cheap. I think just Dave solo is coming to Europe. He is just as good solo as he is with the band though.

The band. But that would automatically include the song, as well. I've listened to shitloads of this music, and I can't seem to get into it.
