A fantastic band in my opinion. They play brilliant live and they have great guitar and violin pieces in many of their songs.

Uhhhmmm... I'm not going to say much, because I haven't listened to them enough, but they are too The OC and too Go! and just too not original.
I like Ocean Avenue, though, because it's old and it makes me feel something like nostalgia when I listen to it because it reminds me of friends that I don't have anymore and parties that will be no more. But there is no kind of respect for the band, don't get me wrong.]
So, all in all, I vote NO.
