Me too. I had, specifically, unagi last week for my (early) birthday luncheon.  As you probably know, I don't eat seafood, but I figured I'd go ahead and try some of the various kinds of sushi available at Todai. I like eel more than salmon. Did you have unagi as well, or did you have an eel steak burger? |

I didn't mean weird in a negative sense, but I could see how it could be considered as such.
Crocodile and Ostrich definitely take the cake. (Crocodile cake?)
Anyone else? I'm just curious, and it's discussion.

I had some Linguiça musubi (Portuguese sausage) today, and to be honest, I liked the Spam musubi better. The Linguiça was a little overcooked, or at least did not fill the entire musubi mold.

I'm slowly getting interested in fish, and so the other day I had mahimahi.  Since the beginning of this topic, I had eel in a box, or unajuu.  A little slippery, but great stuff. I was actually going to have it again this afternoon, but the place was closed, so I could not have any.  I also ate a thesaurus a few weeks ago.  And not so much weird as uncommon, Yak-gwa, or Korean honey cake.  You may drool, andruini, you may indeed.  |

I had bush pig in December. It tastes completely normal! I have had eel sushi as well, it's great.
