This DVD comes out the 13th. I personally cannot wait. I have been dying to see this for a while now, and there is a new featurette on here too which makes it better. And also it is rated "X" which makes me even more interested.

Walkabout was perfection, Bad Timing was an excellent show of editing, but the rest of the movie suffered from a simple plot. An eight out of ten nonetheless. I would really like to see more of his films.

I don't think the plot was really the problem with Bad Timing; it just wasn't that great of a film. The editing was great, like you said, but I wouldn't rate the film that high based solely on that. But really I can't rate the film at all till I give it a re-watch. There was three parts I liked (that I remember): the editing (obvious), The Who's "Who Are You?", and the very hot lead actress, but even after those things I would still rank the film like a 7/10. What did you like about it besides the editing? Or does that warrant an 8 for you?

I thought that the editing was masterful, the acting was pretty good (especially by Garfunkel), and the repeating of The Who's great song came to together to be an eight, even though it lacked in plot.

Yeah, I was surprised Art did so well in the film, I didn't think he would be able to act that well. And yes, the use of The Who was just stunning. Supposedly Roeg stole that song for the film, using it illegally, and then when Criterion went to release it they wouldn't release it without paying for the song, glad they did since it is one of the good parts of the film. You really need to see Man Who Fell to Earth!

Excessive linking is rediculous. I don't really care if ie does it, because his links have a purpose, but yours don't. You just linked to Criterion in your Roeg post for no reason, we all know what Criterion is, you didn't need to do it.
