Top 10 in no particular order:- Jethro Tull - Led Zeppelin - Tom Waits - Porcupine Tree - Camel - King Crimson - John Lee Hooker - Motorpsycho - Opeth - Yes plus some Zappa, Sabbath and Velvet Underground. If you ask me my favorite band I'd say Zeppelin - it was my first fav band as a kid.

And by the way Dan and Tim, when I said Matthews Band is above the Beatles on my list of FAVORITE bands why did you two absolutely flip out on me and not on BeeD?

Okay, first off, stop capitalizing the "D" in beed; it looks stupid, like you are trying to be funny. It's his name; you don't need to remind him the "D" is there or something. And second off, maybe that’s because beed was listening to DMB years before you were, saw them live multiple times, has basically every one of their CD's, belongs to a DMB fan club site thing, worships them, and so on. So I can see how he would like them more, but you having on heard two CD's and songs off of other ones doesn't really let you rank it over the best band ever. So when you love a band as much as beed loves DMB, then I can let it slide, but even his rankings change but his list doesn't move around like yours does. First The Beatles are at number "late teens" and now they are number 4, this is suppose to be a favorite list of bands, not something you change every second. Please don’t respond with something stupid.

Alright well lets see how many Beatles songs I have herd. I have herd ONE CD. Rubber Soul and only thought it was GOOD, plus I have herd Beatles One. I have herd three Dave Matthew band's CD's and a bunch of other songs I have downloaded of there's. I have seen them live and it was the best thing I have ever seen!! I overrate them constantly and talk about them all the time. So I think I like Dave Matthews Band more. I know Beatles are obviously the better band by far. I love the Beatles but just not enough as you think I should. You act like I HATE the Beatles because I don't have them number one.

Myself, I capitalize the "D" in the BeeDster because I like how it looks. It also looks like SeeD, which is a Final Fantasy 8 term, a game I don't have glowing nostalgia for, but the SeeD concept was one of the few things I liked about the game.
I don't have a handy list myself, because I'm more interested in the movies than the music right now, so, yeah.

I only did the list because I was asked to and it will help music noobies, like Blackmoses and Criterionmaster, to get into new bands. I usually don't like to rank bands because it is nearly impossible for me. I made a song list a while back, I looked back at it and really disliked some of the choices I made. Music is more a week to week thing and my music lists fluctuate like crazy over the course of a few months.
I myself do not like the name Beed and I wish people would just call me Beef or Captain or even by my real name, Chris. But if you have to.....

Your musical opinion doesn't matter to me. Plus, like I said, the rankings after about 100 don't really matter. 100-250 is sort of a conglomeration of bands and artists that I really like.

No, it doesn't mean you can't give it. But I'm gonna say as a fact that I know more about music than you, so it would behoove you to give my opinion some consideration. By the way, howmuch Elvis Costello have you heard?? Which albums?
Once again, I encourage the spell check feature.

Well I really have no reason for giving your opinion any consideration. You have no reason??? Well, for starters in the past when I have given you recommendations, such as, "Why don't you go see DMB," its has led to you discovering one of your favorite bands. So, why don't you pick up one of the bands on my extensive list and give them a listen. Rather than complaining about Elvis Costello being at 200 or whatever number he is at because, for the 12th time, the numbers after 100 don't really matter.
