I've heard their live cover of Master of Puppets (the album) but I haven't gotten around to listening to any of their other stuff. I've heard they're good.

Who is more talented? Name me one band who has more virtuoistic (sp?) players. These guys smoke any other band except maybe Tool or Rush.

God, is every band pretentious? Tool? Phish? I agree that Tool are a tad overrated but I still love them. But they dont suck for God sakes.

Some great folk- country in the band Old Crow Medicine Show. They were in the paper the other day, and I downloaded some of their stuff. Its pretty good!

Try some Moe as well. A very good band. Very diverse, a jam band, but their album tracks are very good and tight. Kinda like the Grateful Dead.
