They have only been together about 3 months with sporadic practice sessions. I'd be keen to know what you guys think. I personally think they need a lot of work but some of their stuff isn't pretty good.

The songs on here are all fairly old and rough recordings but it gives you an idea of their sound.

I listened to the first song and thought it was pretty good, definitely didn't sound that poorly recorded, of course, that kind of sound is what I like in bands. Since it isn't my kind of music, I wasn't overly impressed, but I did like it. I might check out the other two songs sometime, or you can tell us when they get other stuff up and I might check that out. Which one of theirs do you like the most?

I think that they should look into writing some better guitar licks for the verse on the first song.. They are a little too loud in the mix (which is probably the result of the recording values) and the riff doesn't fit with the singer's tone and pace in my opinion. I wasn't really a fan of the music myself, but I imagine when the play together more they will get better.

Yeah I agree that the guitar licks in the first song are pretty weak and out of place. This guy, he's a pretty good guitarist but he isn't very creative. I mean, he can play ac/dc or whatever really well but he doesn't have that many good ideas of his own. He doesn't write the main guitar, the licks were just his idea, a lame one....

My favourite is probably last song but pick and choose isn't bad either. They have some new songs floating around in practice at the moment but haven't been recording them. Mainly because my friend (vocalist) is making his final film for college, a documentary on the band. So more focus is being put on filming footage rather than recording it.
