System of a Down is fantastic! Even though they are getting popular I doubt I could ever not like them. The lead singer voice is just perfect. I LOVE them.

They are just really annoying to me. I really like Serj's voice also. Its very unique. I LOVE the song Chop-suey. But he is better with Buckethead.

Yea, I have heard the stuff. I am not a fan, I'm sorry. Yep, Buckethead was in Guns N Roses. Whatever happened to Chinese Democracy? Axl said it was done. Oh well, I have lost my faith in him any way. Buckethead is super talented, for some talent showcase listen to Nottingham Lace.

Well about 5 songs off of Chinese Democracy have been leaked. I wouldn't be surprised if it actually came out sometime this year. I wish he would just call it Axl Rose, though, it's not Guns 'N Roses anymore.

Motorhead is a kick ass metal band. They are like the AC/DC of metal. They stick to their guns and just keep churning out fun song after fun song. They are still going today too. Even though Lemmy is like 70!  |

Yea, dont really care for SOAD. I have stated why before but I will do so again. I like Serj's voice a lot. But just not with the band. Malakian is not all that talented. I love Serj with Buckethead. Once again, Enter the Chicken everybody. Andruini, you dont like Sabbath? Or great 80's metal like GNR or Ozzy?

Been eating, sleeping, and breathing metal for the past month. Mostly because it is METAL MONTH on VH1. Some bands I have been getting into are Slayer, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Primus, Danzig, Pantera, and Celtic Frost.

Guys, listen up! The most interesting metal-band that currently is producing albums in the world is the Swedish Opeth.
Opeth is a band with deathmetal roots, Psychedelia/ 70s-prog rock influenses and Folk inspiration. They play alot of accustic! Also combined with electric distortion guitars! Unique!
If you don't like heavy-stuff check out their album "Damnation" from 2004. It's ballads and instrumentals only! Very relaxing with forest-atmosphere! If you want it brutal and heavy check out "Blackwater Park" (My personal favorite!) from 2001, Deliverance from 2003 and their latest "Ghost Reveries!"
I also suggest their four previous albums Orchid, Morningrise, My Arms-Your Hearse and Still Life if you liked the mentioned albums!

Hey! They do write "ten minute songs", and it sounds as like 3-4 songs coming right after each other but that's the way it work. it's called progression! Opeth and other progressive bands arrange their music to take the time it takes. The songs are varied, chopped up in chapters with different and changing measures to make it musically complex and something different than any other music. There are many progressive metalbands as well as progressive rock bands! It's a genre with many sub-genres. Opeth is a great example!
