Good one. Simease Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinate Sadness are both in the top five albums of the nineties. (1. Automatic for the People- REM, 2. Mellon Collie, 3. Rage- Self-titled, 4. Simease Dream, 5. New Adventures in Hi-Fi- REM) Corgan is a good songwriter with a good voice. Don't even TRY to tell me that Tool isn't pretentious. They are WAY more pretentious than the Pumpkins.

Sorry, my two favorite bands of the 90's are R.E.M. and the Pumpkins. All the albums on your list are good. Some came close. I have to say, I completely overlooked Odelay. I also overlooked Achtung Baby (you did, too). Whatever. The Pumpkins aren't even really grunge. They have a different sound, they aren't from Seattle...

O ya. Achtung Baby. Replace Unplugged with Achtung. I guess I can see if REM and the Pumpkins are some of your favorite bands. Then your list is acceptable. I just dont like the Pumpkins.
