80's Bon Jovi isn't all that bad. I HATE that new song of their's, though.

Ya, new Bon Jovi is very bad stuff. The Wanderer- OAR 5/10. A band that I used to like a lot. But, I really dont like them all that much anymore. Their lyrics are really bad and a lot of their stuff sounds the same.

Paranoid (Live)- Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhoads 10/10 Just as good as the original. Rhoads' death was such a terrible loss. One of the best guitarists ever.

Unwritten- Natasha Bedingfield 0/10. O GOD, my sister was listening to this and I happened to be in the room. It is painful to the ears.

Interpol - Stella Was A Diver And She Was Always Down
Paul Banks sounds like he's about to explode with emotion, the bassline rolls along with restrained intensity and the guitar switches between muted power chords and absurd amounts of reverb. Such a powerful song.
10/10

Jesse James- Bruce Springsteen 10/10 Best song on Bruce's new record. His vocals are perfect for the song and so is the banjo solo. This should be the theme song to The Assassination of Jesses James by the Coward Robert Ford.

My Friends- Red Hot Chili Peppers 9.5/10 Great song off the most underrated Chilis Cd, One Hot Minute. Its great even though it doesnt have Frusciante. Navarro brings a whole new style to the band. And it is almost as good as the old style.

And it is almost as good as the old style. Yeah, I was never a big fan of One Hot Minute. Frusciante is a much better guitarist than Navarro. He should have stuck with Jane's Addiction.

Now that right there is a false statement. They are about the two most incomparable guitarists you can find out there. Frusciante is a very melodic and funky player, taking a ton of influence from Hendrix. Navarro is straight out of late 70's and early 80's Metal soloing. He plays fast and hard. I like them both equally.
Electric Crown- Testament 10/10 This song has grown on me so fast as has the album. It is a fine piece of metal. It may be commercial but behind it is some great guitar playing. Churning riffs and excellent thrash solos. This song is the best song on that record whic I would now probably give a 9.

Smokestack Lightning- The Yardbirds 10/10 I am doing a run through of my music tonight and I picked up my Yardbirds CD. This track jumps out at me every time I do. This is the best example of the Yardbirds at their bluesy best. Clapton and Relf just shine on this track. I wish I could find some Yardbirds stuff with Page, but I freaking live in Erie. So that is impossible.

Thank You- Sly and the Family Stone 9/10 An ultra-funky Stone song with a killer bass line and a fun chorus. I love how they mention there previous songs in the lyrics too.

It Makes No Difference- The Band 10/10 Possibly my favorite song ever. The music is so beautiful as are the lyrics. The melody is perfect. My Morning Jacket and Pearl Jam covered this when I saw them. Even though they did a good job, they couldn't come close to the original. I can't stop listening to this, probably the 5th time tonight.
