I heard Aqualung for the first time in a couple months and had the song stuck in my head after I got home, so instead of looking anywarez for it, I Youtubed it. This live version sounds almost exactly the same as the studio version, except a couple of the keyboards or synthy bits sounded a little louder, so that's good. |

I really hate Gwen's solo stuff, her No Doubt stuff was so much better (Reggae, punk, rock, pop). Her new stuff is just a poppy mess of retarded lyrics. That song is her least annoying and I still despise it, in fact she made one of the worst songs EVER made with that banana shit. Any reasons you like her? Did you like her No Doubt stuff?

I do like No Doubt, what I've heard anyway (Just a Girl and Spiderwebs were really underrated becasue they came off the same album as Don't Speak)
I also, for the record, agree with you about Hollaback Girl, that's simply a grating record and yes with the whole "This shit is bananas" I did think she lost her mind. Other wise though LAMB is full of great pop music, paticulary What You Waiting For (a song Madonna wouldn't be embarrassed of) and Cool (a lovely ballad and one of the guilitier pleasures of 2006.
Wind It Up took some getting used to but after a few plays I was able just to go with it and love it for utterly insane beast iti is and as I mentioned I quite simply flat out love the new single, so I'm going to have to buy The Sweet Escape.
Overall I think she's got a great voice for pop music and rather than making pap that can be marketed to 8 year old girls the way most chart music is she's doing exciting things with it... that's always gonna be an audience splitter though.

Yeah, that does seem plausible, although I did see Mick hanging with the Beatles way before that, they seemed to be friends with him. I wonder how the people got to even be there, if they had to know The Beatles, win a contest, or just came off the street. |
