Christian Bale. Anything he's been in he's been amazing. He's so ridiculously dedicated and talented.

Very hard, but I go with Erland Josephson, Charlie Chaplin and James Mason. These are my all time favorite actors!Other actors I love are James Dean (love all his three films), William Holden, Alain Delon and Michel Piccoli!

William Holden is one of my favorites too. Others that I think of are Robert De Niro, Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson and Joe Pesci. I`m also a big fan of Robert Duvall. His presence in Apocalypse now is out of this world.

ditto. ...though probably Mifune. Of all the performances I've ever seen, i gotta say that the best is his in Seven Samurai.

Toshiro Mifune, Ian McKellan and Ewan McGregor are the strongest I can think of (and in that decreasing order).
