Twilight Zone: The Complete Definitive Collection - This is very expensive but I NEED it!

X3: The Last Stand - Not interested at all! Look like a terrible movie.

21 Grams: Collector's Edition - I may see the film one day but don't feel like renting it. Is this REALLY good?

Body Double: Special Edition - I will watch this one day, but there are bigger depalma films I need to see.

The Curse Of El Charro - Is this any good?

The Dark Backward - Nope.

Deadfall - Is this any good?

Glass House - The Good Mother - Is this any good?

Humphrey Bogart: The Signature Collection, Volume 1 - I already have some of these films so I will pass on the set.

Humphrey Bogart: The Signature Collection, Volume 2 - Don't want to spend the money.

What happened to last weeks DVD releases?

I don't recall anything super amazing being released last week, but I could be entirely wrong.


Either way:

Maltese Falcon sounds good. I'm sure it is, but I mean, I should probably check it out sometime.
Ditto for Thank You For Smoking, although maybe it isn't as awesome. Dunno.
X3: The Last Stand was good when it wasn't a over-the-top-Hollywood movie. But when it wasn't, I was surprised by it, and thought it to be better than the second, but not as good as the original.
I've only seen the more... hmm... scenes of Curse Of El Charro. Maybe I should check it out in full someday.
Point Break was an average movie. So why they made a two-disc special edition of it, I'm not sure.

Oh, and the X-Men Trilogy box set looks like it's just the standard editions of all three. No X-Men 1.5, no super duper edition. Oh well.

Oh yeah, Lady Vengeance was released last week. I only found out about it late, and then decided to borrow it from the libber rary before buying it, thus why I couldn't remember anything noteworthy about last week's releases.

I want to buy Maltese Falcon and 21 Grams and I just rented Thank You for Smoking.

I'd get the maltese falcon for sure! i've seen thankyou for smoking. Its a funny and well made film but the acting of the kid puts me right off and past the hour mark the film does plod a little and becomes very pointless as it has ran out of stuff to go on about....
