The Green Mile: Special Edition - Haven't seen the film so maybe one day if it is ever on TV I will watch it, looks not good though.

Oldboy: Ultimate Collector's Edition - I am not too fond of newer Japanese films for some reason. Yes, I have heard all the "this film is amazing" stuff, which is the only reason I have any interest in it. Maybe it is great, I will see.

King Kong: Deluxe Extended Edition - I will check out this cut, I liked the original cut.

Strangers With Candy - The Movie - Can't wait to see this, the show is amazing!

ok dude, with Oldboy:

a) it's Korean, not Japanese
b) make it your top priority to see it. it's that amazing. I guarantee it's like nothing you've ever seen before. It's so good, i'm buying this new special edition even though i already have the original.

I am buying Forbidden Planet tomorrow! And I will buy Oldboy someday after Black Friday.

I can verify two things:

a) The Green Mile is a decent movie. I think it was good.

b) Park Chan-wook is not Japanese, therefore his movies are not Japanese.



Isn't 49 Up a continuation of that epic documentary series where they basically follow the lives of several children, checking up on them every dozen or so years and making documentaries about them? If so, I'd be interested to check it out from the beginning.

Oh boy, I meant Asian, not Japanese. I will check it out, it is on my queue. And I think that documentary follows them every 7 years or something, I read about it but don't really remember.

I will rent Da Vinci Code, Who Killed the Electric Car, and buy Oldboy.

i've already ordered Oldboy, and maybe i'll buy the new King Kong set sometime way down the road. I like the movie a lot, but at this point, not enough to re-buy it.
