Hello everyone,
Last week I entered a contest to direct Norwegian musician Sondre
Lerche's next music video. To my surprise, I found out this morning I
was one of the five
finalists! (and the only non-Norwegian). So what I'm asking of you all
here is for a vote in my support. Sondre is my absolute favorite
musician, so getting a chance to do a
video with him and his band would be a real dream come true.
I'm going to give you some directions on what to do, since the page is
primarily in Norwegian, but it is quite easy to decipher.

Once there you will see a list of videos. I am the first one (Ben
Umstead with the picture of the bear)
Click that and watch the video explaining my idea.
Once done watching, you can read a paragraph I wrote about the idea(s)
in more detail to the right of the screen. To vote, scroll down and
you will see a pink box that says:
"KLIKK HER FOR A STEMME"
Click that. And now you've voted!
A vote today, tomorrow or Wednesday would be best because living in
America we are on different time zones than Norway.
The deadline for voting is THIS Thursday at 11:00 AM Norwegian time.
(2:00 AM PT/5:00 AM ET)
There is a possibility that you can vote more than once. I will let
you all know if that is the case.
And it would be awesome for anyone who can, to FORWARD THIS along to
as many people as possible, explaining to them how you know me and all
that. All the support I can get, the better!
