DVD'S I'LL BUY
The Sergio Leone Anthology (A Fistful Of Dollars / For A Few Dollars More / The Good, The Bad And The Ugly / Duck, You Sucker) - This looks like an amazing boxset, I have been waiting a long time to get special editions of these films (obviously besides GBU).
Meatballs (Special Edition) - haha, definitely need to get this for my dad.
DVD'S I'LL RENT
Henry Rollins: Uncut from NYC - I love Henry Rollins, I love Black Flag, hearing this dude talk is always funny, so this is definitely going to be something I want to check out.
Fantastic Voyage (Special Edition) - I have heard this is suppose to be really good, anything that would make me not want to see this? Has anyone seen it?
Ghidorah: The Three-Headed Monster - Jesus, this looks like gold! I really need to check this one out. I encourage you to do the same.
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (Global Warming Edition) - I think I have seen this before, but I better check it out again. I seem to remember it being very fun.
Invasion of Astro-Monster (aka Monster Zero) - Same as that other one, looks amazing.
DVD'S I'LL IGNORE
Coming to America (Special Collector's Edition) - The film is actually pretty funny, but I don't feel the need to own it. It is on TV enough anyways.
Fantastic Four - Extended Cut (Two-Disc Special Edition) - Oh my God, such a terrible film. I couldn't believe how bad they ruined the comics, and how overall just horrible this film was. Making it longer isn't going to make it any better, it will just make it suck more.
World War II Collection, Vol. 2 - Heroes Fight for Freedom (36 Hours / Air Force / Command Decision / Hell to Eternity / The Hill / Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo) - I would definitely check this out, some of the films look good, but I am not certain. Anyone know any of these films?
Norbit - Holy fuck, this film looks like one of the worst films ever made, I know I say that a lot, but this seriously does. Would ANYONE on here see this shit?
Chicago Massacre: Richard Speck - PLOT: "On July 14, 1966, Richard Speck took 9 student nurses hostage. He held the girls, methodically beating, raping and stabbing them to death in one of the bloodiest mass murders in American history. Witness the terrifying story every fan of true crime must see."
Deadly Voyage - PLOT: "Based on the terrifying true story of one ship and the nine stowaways hiding beneath its decks. When their existence threatens the captain's career, a means must be found of disposing of them - and so the hunt is on. There can be no survivors who might tell the tale of this deadly voyage."
Desert Hearts (Two-Disc Vintage Collection) - This deserves a two-disc? PLOT: "It is 1950s Nevada, and Professor Vivian Bell arrives to get a divorce. She's unsatisfied with her marriage, and feels out of place at the ranch she stays on, she finds herself increasingly drawn to Cay Rivers, an open and self-assured lesbian, and the ranchowner's daughter. The emotions released by their developing intimacy, and Vivian's insecurities about her feelings towards Cay, are played out against a backdrop of rocky landscapes and country and western songs."
Fail Safe - PLOT: "Cold War tensions climb to a fever pitch when a U.S. bomber is accidentally ordered to drop a nuclear warhead on Moscow." Is this suppose to be good or something?
H.O.T.S. - This could be fun, but it is probably terrible, so I am going to skip it.
Trading Places (Special Collector's Edition) - I own the old edition, and don't really feel like getting this again, maybe i will for my dad or something, but not anytime soon.
The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Extra Frills Edition) - Tell me, should I see this movie, it sounds fun. PLOT: "It's the Australian film that blitzed overseas box offices. It caused a near riot at the Cannes Film Festival. It won an Academy Award (Registeration Symbol). It's fun, daring, over-the-top and unforgettable. It's a road movie with attitude and the occasional frock."
Path to Paradise - PLOT: "Secret warehouses, basement bomb factories, fake passports. . . It took a lot of work to plan the bombing of the World Trade Center. But under the noses of the FBI and the NYPD, a plan has been devised that will stun the nation, and take the extremist murderers on the PATH TO PARADISE. Based on the shocking true story."
The Neptune Factor - An Undersea Odyssey - PLOT: "Dazzling underwater footage highlights this suspenseful story about a submarine sunk to the bottom of the sea by an earthquake."
The Messengers - Complete shit, I saw the trailer and it looked HORRIBLE! Exactly like that grudge shit.
Robocop (Lenticular Edition) - What the fuck is this?
