FILM REVIEWS Forum
I would like for this section to be FILM REVIEWS only.
Please review any film you would like. But please keep to certain guidelines.
THREAD GUIDELINES
1. The film to be reviewed can be new or old. Theatrical or DVD or VHS or Laser Disc. Doesnt matter. DOES NOT ONLY HAVE TO BE NEW RELEASE. also feel free to review any TV on DVD shows as well. EXample: Simpsons Season 1 Review. Its still a film, just a long one. So that is welcome here as well.
2. Please put POSTER ART for your film at the top of the page. IF you do not know how to add poster art just write INSERT POSTER ART HERE and I or another Moderator will make sure the artwork is added.
3. Include an official LINK, IMDB Link and any other interesting links pertaining to the film.
4. Give a rating after the review. Use any scale system you would like. John and I use GUNSHOTS like on the podcast. We do "out of 4 gunshots". But if youd rather use STARS or "THUMBS up or down" or "Out of 10" any system is fine. Your Choice.
5. Your Review can be as long or as short as you would like. Free Form, have fun. You DO NOT have to explain the whole story to us. OR if you like you can. I would say though be SPOILER MINDED and not give away too much if you want others to see the film.
6. Be avaliable to continue the discussion when people respond as it will be your thread.
7. If someone else has written a review already for a film you would ALSO like to review please do so. Just do it in the same topic. There is nothing wrong with 4 people or something wanting to write a review for the same film. This could easily happen when a new movie comes out and different people want to add their 2 cents in.
I didn't write these thread guidelines but they seem great to me. I haven't put any poster art yet but will start from now on. I really want to see some more people review some films, I like to hear about films I may not have heard of before or even ones I have.
Thanks,
Criterion "Master of Cinema" Master
