I love him as well. Munch is my personal favorite. I was elated to see one of the versions of "Scream" when I visited the Metropolitan in New York.

Pieter BruegelThe Triumph of Death The Fall of The Rebel Angels The Elder And one that I forgot the name of, and can't find... My favourite artist at the moment though, is Hieronymus Bosch. Thsi is my favourite triptych by him: It's omni-title is The Garden Of Earthly Delights, but the first painting depicts Paradise (Eden), the middle: The Garden of Earthly Delights, and the last Hell. Other favourites by him include The Crucifixion, Anbetung Das Jungste Gericht

I remembered the name of my favourite painting by Pieter Bruegel. It's called: Netherlandish proverbs

I don't like Bruegel's paintings... Too apocalyptic and middle age for me. I love abstract and beauty on canvas. ;D My favorite artist is for the moment Michael Parkes.Favorites: The CreationGargoylesTuesday's ChildWater MusicAlso, I like abstracts by Joan Miro, Wassily Kandinsky and Alfred Gockel very much. Alfred Gockel's Tickle Your Fancy I. This painting is one of my very favorite paintings. I can mention that a bunch of Max Ernst's surrealistic paintings and just few Salvador Dali paintings like MeditativeRose 1958 and NatureMorte Vivente do me good.

Those seem like paintings I'd like. I hate geometric abstract art though, so I don't really enjoy the last painting you posted. I love Tuesday's Child and The Creation, they're beautiful.
I like the idea of a lot going on in paintings, and the "fuck you" the the general direction of the people. Do you like Bosch's triptych?

Besides Middle age paintings are so diabolical and apocalyptic, I can't stand them. I like to watch a painting with sparkling beauty not inferno. I admire the artist for being able to express his visions, but I prefer minor settings, a small number of characters/objects/subjects that are very detailed and beautiful.

I can understand perfectly where you're coming from, but I'm just the opposite. My motto is boredom = death, so I need a lot of stimuli and things to look at, and the uglier things are the more I am fascinated by them. I like to find beauty in the grotesque.

Ah well, I'll have to see some more to decide that! It's Antony and The Johnsons, I don't know exactly WHAT, but it's something to do with them. I like things that freak people out, and I don't necessarily look at art for the beauty, but for the thoughts that went into them. I recently discovered this masterpiece that a lot of thought has went into, is very symbolic and also recurring, and is also incredibly beautiful: The Awakening of Conscience by William Hunt. Give me a chance and I can pick this painting apart on almost fifty pages. I like when you can think about paintings and identify things in them and just look and look and look forever.
