Is this the best system ever, or is it?

Nah, N64 is better. But Super Nintendo still rocks.

SNES is my personal favorite, as well. Super Mario World, Zelda: Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Megaman X, Final Fantasy III/VI, Castlevania IV, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, the list goes on.

All three Donkey Kong games were fantastic as well.
EDIT: I can't believe I forgot the fantastic Yoshi's Island. I bought that when my mom was pregnant and she kept getting sick when baby mario would cry in the game. lol Such a classic game, I beat it a couple of times and it is still fun.

Nah, N64 is better. But Super Nintendo still rocks. I agree! Beed, ive grown respect for you recently. Would anyone disagree that Goldeneye for the N64 is the best game ever? (NM, we all have our own opinions)

Well, N64 does have my favorite game of all time on it: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Goldeneye* is amazing, especially playing two players, but nothing can beat how many great games SNES has, not saying N64 doesn't have any. As ptahole pointed out, Zelda is mind-blowing. It is just that SNES had SO many good games.
*One of my top 5 favorite games ever probably.

Alright now, I would like to hear some valid reasons why the N64 is better than the SNES, because that argument just does not hold water.
As for Goldeneye, a friend of mine said it best like this: "Goldeneye was a barely competent FPS. The only reason it was popular was because it had no competition. If it had been released on the PC instead, nobody would have liked it. People would have remembered it as "that shitty FPS that had James Bond stuff tacked onto it at the last minute.""
I like Goldeneye myself, but it is not the best game ever, because most (I haven't played them all) PC FPS games out there are superior to Goldeneye on all levels, in my opinion as a FPS fan. When I go to LAN Parties, and we decide what games to play, we don't go "oh, let's play Goldeneye, of course!"

I don't go to LAN parties or whatever and play FPS games. I play games that I think are fun and entertaining. There is no real reason why I think Goldeneye is the best game of all time other than the fact that its the game I have the most fun playing. It might not be the best game technically, but its definitely the best game for me to sit down and play with my friends when we are bored.

Actually, I asked you about why you came up with that idea that the N64 was better than the SNES.

O sorry. Well, its probably because its was the first system I ever owned. I played it religously for two years straight. It has more of my favorite games for it then any other system. Its pretty much a personal thing for me more than anything.

Okay, that's fine then. If it's a personal opinion thing, that's good. Nothing I can argue against there.
But if you're going to try to prove that the N64 was better than the SNES, well, that's just plain impossible. Now, I like the N64 more than most people, and I still think it isn't the best console out there.
To me, RPGs are a good measure of quality, and the N64 had about three. If you exclude the Legend of Zelda games, which you really should, because they are not RPGs. And at least one of those RPGs is universally panned, even though I actually like it: Quest 64, so it doesn't look good in that department.
As for the SNES, how many RPGs did it have? Here's a better question. How many RPGs did it not have? I mean, goddamn. That was a fruitful time. It didn't offer as many unique video games as the NES, but they were quality games. Shit, I can play a game I've played through about four times, EarthBound, for five minutes, and still pick up on new ideas or think of something I hadn't've thought before. Good stuff.
