Just an hour after Nintendo of America reminded Kotaku that they don't allow Adults Only rated games to come to their systems, Sony Computer Entertainment of America has confirmed that the same is true for them. For questions or comment regarding the rating of Manhunt 2, please contact the publisher, Rockstar. Currently it's SCE's policy not to allow the playback of AO rated content on our systems. i hope they complain about the rating, i doubt it could be that bad. sony is just trying to pretend like they care, they know it would make tons of money if they put it out, and money is all they really care about.

I think censors have just come to a point where the won't accept how ridiculously violent Rockstar appear to be making their games. As if rockstar are simply being controversial for the sake of it and to cause attention for their game. I would definitely be keen to give Manhunt 2 a try, the first game I found really scary at times, gave me a few nightmares. I've read about this one and it includes sequences where you are encouraged to kill prostitues, stab nurses and generally torture people. Here in the UK it is has been banned outright by the BBFC. Paul Jackson said something like it is a simply a game where you go around killing people in the most gruesome of ways. They didn't believe that it had enough reddming qualities and is a title where yes, you just kill and torture people.

Well, its be official delayed by R*, so i'd assume they'll just edit it and try for a M rating. Either way the gameplay cant be affect to the point where it'll ruin the game imo. i'll still check it out.

PC would be the way to go in a situation like this... Hopefully the PC publishers wont pussy out like these console fuckers. I'm still hoping that they make an AO version as kinda an underground special edition and the M version as mainstream...

i just beat manhunt, and man was that game good. i can't wait for this to come out, and neither can my brother. anyone know if the same "cash" dude will be in this one, or if it is a new character or what?
