So yesterday I was looking at all the games coming out before christmas, or slated for release, on play.com. Just thought I'd throw out a list, it includes some I wasn't even aware of. Some very exciting...
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on dark Athena:
Actually a 'reinvention' of butcher bay with an extra chapter and hyped up graphics. This'll still be sweet though because I didn't complete butcher bay and this time it'll be with the 360 achievements too.
Turok - Not much info on this but hey, its Turok! Killing dinosaurs, hopefully stunning graphics and all.
Bioshock - Obviously one you'll be well aware of
Two worlds - Again, major yumness!
Mass Effect - yup
Army of two - Comedy army pair game. Seems really fun and you can blow up anything, which could prove to be very interesting.
Brothers in arms: hells highway: Already a good franchise so this should have some merit
Call of Duty 4: Another biggie, 3 was great in parts
Dark sector: Action shooter, story sounds excellent
Half life 2: orange box: This includes half life 2, half life 2 episode one, half life 2 episode 2, Team fortress 2 and portal. I've never played half life so this excites me greatly.
Halo 3 : Naturally!
Haze: Again and fps thats claiming a great story and incredible design
Huxley: Massively online multiplayer fps/rpg anyone?
Kane and Lynch: Dead men: third person actioner about 2 guys waiting for death on deathrow, nice concept
Medal of honor: airborne. Land anywhere on a map? The first medal of Honor fo rthe next gen...
Mercenaries 2: World in flames: The first one was a good time, this could be a sleeper hit
Mirrors edge. Nothing on this. Just this one line description: Run, jump, vault and slide in a way that has never been seen before in a first person game.
Resident evil 5: Omg I haven't played res since the ps1! I'm very excited for this
The club: A highly illegal underground entity. Promises much violence, sounds like fight club!
Timeshift: err shift time and things. Looks very cool in some ways but I see it being a flop a la vampire rain. Dunno why, just got a feeling.
Tom Clancys endwar: A tom Clancy war thing. Not really my cuppa tea, I find Clancy games to hard
Splinter cell: conviction. Again, anotheer cell game which I suck at some im not that interested.
Unreal tournament 2007: hopefully much sweetness online.
PGR 4: Hopefully it'll get back to the brilliance of number 2. I liked 3 but eh, not so good
Assassins creed: another pretty
GTA 5: Yeah, biggie again
