Yes, I will agree with that. Lee's masterpiece.

But I also like Magnolia better than Do the Right Thing. Take that as you will...

He is WAY more consistant than Spike, that's for sure.

He is just as consistent as early Spike. Spike has been sporadic as of late. But lets hope Inside Man puts him back on pace.

He also doesn't make a movie every year. That is smarter. Spend time making a movie, and it will turn out better. But, yes, Inside Man was great.

Okay, so we watched this in my Western Civilization class (the teacher is black) and it is still just as amazing as it ever was. It is unbelievably well-acted and scripted. I couldn't believe some of the performances were so funny. The characters are all a little exaggerated though, which I loved. But my main reason for coming to the thread is after the movie was done people in the class were like "what was the point of that movie, I don't get it. mesa stupid. durrrp." And that was even after the quotes in the credits came up. And these are people who love travesties like Boondock Saints. A movie with absolutely no point at all, but they acted like because they didn't see one of the most obvious points ever, that the movie was bad. God, I fucking hate people.
I am going to try and make this one of the next things I buy. I already watched most of the features and they are all stunning.

Yes, they are so stupid. Anyway, I watched the film too. I will grade it somewhere.

Those kids are fools. This is one of the best movies with a "point" ever.

God, I fucking hate people. ;D The funny thing is, you ain't even being sarcastic. But yeah, the film is very good. I think it manage to reach this nice balance between a serious and a comic approach to what it deals with. And Lee does a great role, too, in addition to the great directing.

Yeah, completely serious. But to make it even more specific, I hate fucking teenagers, yeah I am one, but still, most of them are not like me. Most...
Even though people still disliked the film, or it would seem they did, the teacher still is going to show us Malcolm X, a film which I haven't seen yet, but own, so it gets me even more happy.

You will love Malcom X. But I have a feeling the class will dislike it even more. It really is a great film, not quite on par with this one though.

That is what I figured. My teacher did warn the class about the film’s lack of comedy though, and that is much more serious and all that. I only paid $5 for the two-disc version, so if this film is an 8/10 or better, than I will be happy. I heard Denzel is outstanding.
