I'm not sure I agree with you a hunnert percent on your policework, there, Dan. I've always been partial to the original Criterion Collection poster / cover:  Six samurai or not. edit: That one's pretty good too. I thought you said the best, but since you didn't, I can agree that that one looks pretty sweet. |

I like the new cover more than the original actually. Once I realized it was 6 samurai on the cover I couldn't get over it. I am not saying that the cover is terrible, just not my favorite. I wish I had a Seven Samurai full-sized poster in my room; that would kick ass.

Well, I believe that there are only six samurai on the cover because the screenshot was taken after the first samurai, Heihachi Hayashida, was killed. I printed out the one in my last post, and taped it up to my wall. Sure, it's not as impressive as a full-sized poster, but it works. |

Finally got this three-disc set, and, damn is it impressive! I watched the Seven Samurai: Origins and Influences documentary. Very informative. I'm looking forward to watching that two hour interview.
