What does everyone do to relieve boredom. Everyone gets those times in the day where your on your own with nothing to do.
Any innovative answers apart from watching movies, reading or any other obvious things. Sometimes I cook ;D

Some of you will probably not believe me, but I'm genuinly honest when I say this: I'm never bored. You know, it's just too much to think about in this world and shit.. So, you know, even if I'm not with friends, watching films, sitting here on the net, reading, writing, I'm not bored. I kinda understand why many people often feel bored, but at the same time I don't. Then again, what's "bored" exactly? How would you define the word?

I'd describe bored as feeling like the world is empty and devoid of things for me to do. Not feeling like doing regular things. Feeling almost helpless. Although maybe thats something more than boredom...

Although maybe thats something more than boredom... Oh, wow, then I'm bored at times... definitely. But I don't think that's what I would describe bored as... You may be right, though. I don't really know. I just think about other things when I hear the word "bored".

I'm bored out of choice, not because I truly have nothing to do. I like me some down-time. I go jogging, I walk around the house in a bored stupor, I sit on the floor and count stuff or something, I sit on the grass and watch the clouds, I eat, I make something sweet to eat, I do my make-up, I do my hair, I try on new outfits, old outfits, weird outfits, I paint, I draw, I search the net for something obscure, I load new music onto my computer in hopes of finding something nice where I never thought I'd look, I play with the dogs, I smoke my hookah-pipe. Although I'm always (at least) three days behind in anything I HAVE to do, I'd rather sit and watch paint dry than actually do any work for school. I love being bored. Although, sometiems, I get that feeling too, mixed. I get panicky sometimes.

Hmm, good question. When I am bored I usually clean my room actually, or think about what I could do to change it, like just a second ago I tore some posters off my wall, so I could move them, also, earlier, I cleaned my room up a bit. I love a clean room. I get bored a lot, but I normally have so much stuff to do, but stuff that I don't really feel like doing. Also, a fun thing to do is re-arrange you DVD's. Try that one out, haha. This summer I will come back to this thread as well, since I am sure I will be more bored, although a lot of times I just like doing nothing. With school now, there is normally stuff I have to do, and it seems like there are too few hours in a day. If you know what I mean?

Yes, during school I am almost never bored. I usually have a load of homework, then I do some chores, and I have like two hours left in the day, where I usually watch a movie or play guitar or something like that. But now as the school year is winding down, I find myself with more time. I still haven't been bored though. Too much to do

I haven't read much of this, but like kiddo, I'm never bored in the traditional sense of having nothing to do and not this new emodelic definition. *shrug* Just too much shit to do that I've practically given up playing video games as a whole, plus movies. Killing zombies. Internet. Reading. Writing. More movies. Occasionally school or other chores. Besides that, though, I don't really post here when I'm bored or anything. I post here when I'm able, and willing, to relieve some stress and write some stuff that no one might read. So I get to say whatever I want, which is nice. Like right now, I should have gone to sleep but instead I just decided to write some things down. Nothing important at all, just stuff.

...this new emodelic definition... It's actually bery true, it happens to me sometimes. Although I always am bored by choice, sometimes I get all panicky and weird and I feel like my life is ending... Okay, not completely, but almost.

I remember from the pictures, that's fine. I have four, two in each lobe. We talked about the trachus(sp), didn't we? I'm getting one there or about half-way up my ear, in the cartilage, next. When my mom stops freaking out about this stuff...

Or wait, I just felt, and my lobe seems to go up pretty high with enough space to pierce without touching the cartilage. I hope I can get one there, because it'll be less sore...

Yeah, cartilage is a sore one Sometimes its alright but at times it gets a little sore and gross. I think its because you're supposed to keep the same earring in for 6 months after having it done or something stupid and I haven't done that. I've put silver in it as well and I don't think that was recommended so soon in the advice pamphlet I was given. Ah well, it looks cool ;D

Haha, my ears are extremely sensitive, I can only have hypo-allergenic earrings in (when it's for a long time) but when I don't listen and put in something cool (for longer than two days) they get all sore and weird. And it's okay, because those are about the only ones I can wear for school anyway. My ears took six months to come right...

Yeah, ears are funny things! Even the ones I got pierced back in June play up sporadically. Though thats probably because they were pierced by my ex gf with a safety pin when we were drunk. Not the safest measure
