I got this last night and want to hear what y'all think about it? I got the OOP CC disc, watched it once on a 13" standard tube, and laughed histarically throughout most of the film. I had no clue what I was getting into and i loved every strange moment of it. Has anyone gotten the chance to see this on the big screen? Along with Days of Heaven and Woman in the Dunes, this is one film i must see on the biggest screen possible before I die. I'll post more after I get through the commentary bit and another watch through.

I've never seen holiday or Oncle, so im guessing i must see those if I found Playtime such a delight. I put it in last night and after 5 minutes had to shut it off and put in 3rd Man. I couldn't stand looking at it on my girls super small TV, so im saving it for the weekend when I can watch it on a 50" Sony HD ballertv. i dont know, playtime had me laughing almost entirely through. Could have been the substance, but from what I remember he uses sound in such a comedic fashion that not even Police Academy could top.
