Very good film. Deserves to be in the collection just for its editing. Contains excellent performances also.

Great editing but the film wasn't that great in my opinion.

I'm thinking about blind buying this one, 'cos i dig Roeg's "Don't Look Now" and I soon have "Walkabout" at home with "The Man Who Fell To Earth".
What are the problems with this one, you guys think? I heard it could be compared to "Last Tango In Paris." That BT was better...

The performances are excellent and the editing is superb. But the movie is fairly uneven and doesnt really have enough plot to hold its two hour running time. Its a solid 8 out of ten.

Yes, it's his weakest I have seen which is still an 8. I like Man Who Fell… better because that is just plain weird and Walkabout because that is just plain beautiful. But this film is good, I do want to re-watch this sometime, because like CoB said, it is pretty uneven and I want to watch it to see if I missed anything. The editing is the standout definitely. All his films have good editing.

This movie has issues. It was alright, but it's too long, and I thought the lead girl was very annoying. It felt like a trashier Adrian Lyne film more than something Nic Roeg would have directed. Not that I'm any connoisseur...
