Random: I was reading this article on Digg at school that I thought read " Being Autistic May Make You Attractive." I couldn't understand it, but when I got home, I realized it actually said Altruistic. This is understandable.

Wow, that's horrible. These mall shootings have to stop.... Yeah, and another shooting happened at the same place earlier this year (no deaths that time, but a friend of mine was stuck in JC Penneys for longer than his expected five minute errant), and they've had about three power outages in the past year as well, including that one during that one interview I had. The funny thing is too, they recently finished constructing another wing onto the mall, essentially making it the biggest mall in the area, while doing nothing to thwart the crime problem in the area. Now it's an even bigger mess than before.

I heard that somebody I went to middleschool with died yesterday, in a car crash. Very sad before christmas too. Sorry to hear that. Especially since that statement will make my next statement seem almost pathetic in the grand scheme of things: Sorry I haven't been around as often as normal. I've been pissing off Clark Nova at another forum and just having too much fun. (Being a horrible person can have its benefits sometimes.) ;D

Richard Lloyd from "Television" is staying in our cottage, he's in South Africa to produce Jim Neversink's third album.
I had breakfast with Richard Lloyd and he told me all about Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg.

He and Jim just randomly met on Facebook, started talking and now he's my housemate. Bahahahahaha! He's a bit deaf, as a result of forty years of hard rocking and taking about every drug on the planet.

Yes CoB, among other places. Tomorrow (Monday) I'm going to attend the meeting (because I'm going with the school) and then I'll let you know exactly all the places we're going. I know we're even going into the Himalayas!

Good: Kayla's India trip
Bad: Two martial arts movie stars dead in two days. Shih Kien (Han from Enter the Dragon) and David Carradine.

^Yea, the way Carradine died is pretty awful too.
But in other good news, I graduate from high school today! Heading to the Big Apple next year to attend New York University. Also my band has its first gig tonight, so wish me luck!

I wish I could, but I'm going to Bonnaroo instead in June. I can only afford one music festival per year with the cost of living in the city.

All-nighter for no reason at all, college has really fucked with my sleep habits. I feel like I can't sleep more than 4 or 5 hours a night any more, if I even get sleep at all.

Yeah, I never get good sleep. Two nights ago I stayed up the entire night, then last night I went to bed at like 8pm, then I woke up at 5:30 am. It's retarded.

Just got back from NYC finally. Such a great trip. Did/saw so many amazing things. I think I'll list and talk about them now!
Possibly the best thing of the whole week was seeing Kevin Devine. I didn't even know he was playing until my girlfriend caught a glimpse of someone's page of bands they want to see and he was on it. I was so happy. He acted the entire set like he wasn't going to play "Brother's Blood" and then he did and gave a mind-blowing performance. Next time I'm in New York I'm definitely going to try and see him play a local show. I also saw Weezer and was within touching distance of Rivers. I'll post pictures soon. They played a pretty standard set and I would have liked to hear more, but it was so much fun. I can't wait to see them again already. I almost died of heat stroke. I also saw Drake (Baby came out!) and Wale, who were both great. I saw some random bands, Hanson (who didn't play Mmm Bop [why even play?]), Say Anything, Saves the Day, NeverShoutNever (who I really like even more now), Paramore, MGMT (who was pretty good but a little weak), Kesha (completely terrible), Four Year Strong (really weak), some of Matt and Kim, some of Girl Talk, and a few others.
I got tons of amazing food, went to a bunch of great shops, met Liz Lee (from My Life as Liz)!! She said she loved my Zombi 2 shirt and asked me to give it to her and when I asked what she'd give me she said a kiss or she'd tickle my beard. I had to turn both down, though to say I kissed her would have been nuts. I also saw Spike Lee (!), Kate Hudson and Chloe Sevigny (didn't get good look :[ ). I missed seeing Greenberg, but everything still worked out. I'm pissed to find out there are no more porn theaters in New York, though. Or are there?
