I finally bought For a Few Dollars More today.
I almost saw The Conformist at the midnight movie a few months ago. I really regret it.

I'd absolutely kill someone for thta Wenders set. And andruini - I love your three $3.33 DVDs as well. Congratulations! Pleasantville is one great movie. And Eternal Sunshine as well. I have to put it on my favourites list, I forgot all about it.

I saw a couple DVDs at Costco today. Here's what I got:
Unforgiven (Two-Disc Special Edition) - $10 ($23.99 at Amazon)
Amadeus - Director's Cut (Two-Disc Special Edition) - $10 ($20.49 at Amazon)
Images? You don't need no stinkin' images!

Yeah, I would have never blind bought the set normally since it is so much money, but since some idiot mismarked it at $20 I couldn't pass up an 8 disc set. Thanks! I too love Pleasantville, and like Eternal enough to buy a normally $20 DVD for $3.

I haven't seen the Unforgiven yet. I've had my western fill with For A Few Dollars More just recently, but I should get around to watching it soon enough.
Nice. Maybe that means I can controoool your mind. Ah, the anime you will now watch. ;D ;D

Ah, the anime you will now watch. ;D ;D ...or not. but anyway, don't let for a few dollars more (or anything by leone) be your sole barometer when it comes to westerns. i LOVE leone in any case (my 2nd or 3rd favorite director), but try your hand at american westerns too. especially the one you just bought. Unforgiven is easily the best American western i've seen, and without a doubt one of the best films of the 90s overall.

Munich: spielberg's best since schindler's list IMO, and the best of 2005.

doubt it's better than broken flowers or grizzly man or mutual appreciation (coming from a spielberg hater). so you automatically condemn it 'cuz you arbitrarily hate the director. very nice...

Never seen this cover before, but that's what the dude on eBay had it listed as. It's identical to the Region 1 release, regardless.
