You ended that last battle so quick, scared Pearl Jam would lose? Anyways, I will vote At the Drive-In. They are fantastic and I have re-gotten back into them recently.

No, I know Aicher or Andrew would have voted for Pearl Jam so I really wasn't scared of them losing. I usually end them when they get to 5 votes anyway.

I listened to a few of their stuff a while ago and didn't care for them, but Buckley is at least decent in my opinion.

Modern Rock Round 3 Southwest region Battle 56 6 seed Stone Temple PilotsStone Temple Pilots (abbreviated STP) was a popular rock band in the 1990s, comprised of Scott Weiland (vocals), brothers Robert (bass) and Dean DeLeo (guitar) and Eric Kretz (drums). vs 2 seed Rage Against the MachineRage Against the Machine, also known as RATM or simply "Rage", was an American metal band noted both for their diligent political conscience and for their pioneering blend of hard rock and rap (which over time would come to be known variously as rock, rapcore, hard rock, funk metal and alternative rock or alternative metal), as well as their vocal radical leftist beliefs. At the point of their break-up in 2000, Rage Against the Machine had become one of the most popular political hard rock bands of all time, and certainly of the 1990s.

Modern Rock Round 3 Northeast region Battle 57 3 seed Dave Matthews BandDave Matthews Band (also known by the acronym DMB) is an American rock band, originally formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991 by singer and guitarist Dave Matthews, saxophonist Leroi Moore, bassist Stefan Lessard, violin player Boyd Tinsley, drummer Carter Beauford, and keyboardist Peter Griesar (who left the band in 1993). All band members met Dave in Charlottesville. Since 1998 the band has performed at most of their shows with keyboardist Butch Taylor, who's not officially a member of the band. Moore, Beauford, Tinsley and Taylor also perform back up vocals. vs 2 seed NirvanaNirvana was a popular American rock band from Aberdeen, Washington. With the lead single "Smells Like Teen Spirit" from their 1991 album Nevermind, Nirvana exploded into the mainstream, bringing along with it an offshoot of punk and alternative rock referred to as grunge. Other Seattle grunge bands such as Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden also gained in popularity, and, as a result, alternative rock became a dominant genre on radio and music television in the United States during the early-to-middle 1990s.
