A Scanner Darkly by Dick. I'm kinda moving slowly through this, as I've read it before, but I just wanted to revisit it before the film comes out (JULY 7TH!!!)

I must read American psycho I'm currently reading only forward by Michael Marshall. Its quite a good book, funny and quirky but I'm taking my time reading it so maybe its not that good Next up, the davinci code possibly, I may be the only person int he world who hasn't yet read that I read Dan Browns angels and demons first which I stopped reading half way through, got boring

I'm reading the last book in the Dark Tower series (Stephen King). Started on book 1 (The Gunslinger) in September 05 & have read nothing else since. Absolutely amazing. If anybody has read book 1 and wasn't impressed I urge you to stick with the next books. I can't begin to tell you how much better it gets. No kidding but my life is gonna seem quite a lot more empty after I finish The Dark Tower. Very highly recommended. Anybody else out there enjoyed this as much as me. Can you imagine a movie/TV series?

I love the books. A movie would be amazing. But King would never allow it.

I can see why. Look at the other films made out of his books. There are only 4 good ones.

Ya, if a movie was made, King would be the one to do it And the ones he does are just as bad. Ever see his Salem's Lot TV movie? YUCK! I have two ambitions as a filmmaker. One of them, is to make a decent movie out of the Stand

It would be okay if he wrote the screenplay, but he should have someone else direct it.

Cell was amazing, a little too short in my opinion though. He could have made an 1000 page book out of it, but it kinda seems he got tired of it. O well, still great though.

Yeah, I'm not that far into it yet but it's great so far. I like how it starts right in with the action the first few pages in, but still lets us care for the characters.

I am reading Best of Disney by Neil Sinyard. I got into this after our heated discussion on disney films. I am half way through it and it is really good, with some great pictures and good analysis on the Disney films.

Staying Fat is pretty bad. Had to read it last year. I didn't like it at all. Scharrer should have had you read the Chocalate War. That books is the king of teen fiction.

Yeah, not the biggest novelization fan, but it's interesting that Spielberg actually wrote it (unless it's like the Star Wars novelization, where it says that Lucas wrote it, but it was really written by Alan Dean Foster)
