I borrowed from the library a couple books I am using for a project, which I will post, since it is about the decline of American film, when I am done, and I also got a book just for fun:
Mike Nelson's Movie Megacheese The dude is hilarious on MST3K, and his reviews will probably be just as funny. I look forward to reading it, or at least reading some of it.
The other books I got will be posted when I post my project, which will be up before the 31st, which is when it is due.

yeah, i noticed. is it boring at all or anything, or just long? Not at all, it's very funny. Some of the humor is vulgar but there is plenty of irony too. You might find the story to be silly and aimless though.

I don't post for a couple days and I think the place dies on me again, but you're all still going at it. I bought one Linux book and one Comp/TIA A+ certification book the other day at the library. The knowledge of two of the most interesting and most-used classes I've ever taken. For $1. And, I came across the Tain Bo Cuailnge for $0.50. I borrowed the Divine Comedy recently, but don't worry, I don't really reeead anything. They're around just in case I do start up that awful habit once again.

Books: Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke (I've wanted to read this for a long time)
Comics: Fables Vol. 2: Animal Farm by Bill Willingham Fables Vol. 3: Storybook Love by Bill Willingham Fables Vol. 4: March of the Wooden Soliders by Bill Willingham Fables Vol. 5: The Mean Seasons by Bill Willingham Fables Vol. 6: Homelands by Bill Willingham Fables Vol. 7: Arabian Nights (and Days) by Bill Willingham Fables Vol. 8: Wolves by Bill Willingham Favles Vol. 9: Sons of Empire by Bill Willingham Fables: 1001 Nights of Snowfall by Bill Willingham Jack of Fables Volume 1: The (Nearly) Great Escape by Bill Willingham and Matthew Sturges (All of the Fables stuff is excellent. I know nobody reads comics here, really, but if you ever want to check something out, this is a great series) Scott Pilgrim Vol. 1: Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life by Bryan Lee O'Malley Scott Pilgrim Vol. 2: Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World by Bryan Lee O'Malley Scott Pilgrim Vol. 3: Scott Pilgrim and the Infinite Sadness by Bryan Lee O'Malley Scott Pilgrim Vol. 4: Scott Pilgrim Gets it Together by Bryan Lee O'Malley (Scott Pilgrim is one of the most fun comics I've ever read, just bursting at the seems with creativity.) Lost at Sea by Bryan Lee O'Malley (Not as good as Scott Pilgrim, but still a creative look at the cliche teenager-not-knowing-what-to-do-with-their-life genre.) Ethel and Ernest by Raymond Briggs (A nice little book about a married couple from the time they met to their deaths. Beautifully realized artwork.) Usagi Yojimbo Vol. 2: Samurai by Stan Sakai Usagi Yojimbo Vol. 3: The Wanderer's Road by Stan Sakai (Always been a favorite of mine, one of the only good examples of a comic that blends Eastern and Western styles to a great effect.) Black Hole by Charles Burns (This is really creepy, but it's pretty excellent) Strangers in Paradise Vol. 1 by Terry Moore (One of the best comics ever published. Just amazing.) Hunter X Hunter Vol. 12 by Yoshihiro Togashi (Nothing revolutionary, but good for light reading on the bus or something like that.) Absolute Sandman Vol. 1 by Neil Gaiman (Aha. This cost me one hundred dollars, but it's worth every penny. The greatest comic book ever, without a doubt. This edition is huge. It looks like an old bible. It collects the first twenty issues, my favorite of which is #8, "The Sound of Her Wings.")
