Bought: The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx Where'd you get it? I'm interested in finding some controversial books myself (so that someday I might actually sit down and read a goddamn book), but the only place I'd really buy them myself are used book stores.

Bought: Amusing Ourselves to Death ($0.75) Italian to English dictionary ($0.75) I've been collecting translation dictionaries for a while now. I have a stack next to my computer for the following languages: German, Hawaiian, Portuguese (in Portugués), Japanese, Polish and now Italian. I've passed on a few Spanish dictionaries because my price range for these dictionaries is fairly low, though I'll probably end up forking over if I ever see a Tuvan dictionary. The Hawaiian one was probably my most expensive one, partially because it's one thing to buy an Italian book for less than a dollar because you found it and thought it was kind of amusing, but it's another thing to be in Italy and buy a dictionary because you found it and thought it was kind of amusing.

I get this card at university which has £200 loaded on it for free. I've bought all my core texts so I've spent some on fiction!

Dance dance dance - Haruki Murakami The Elephant Vanishes - Haruki Murakami The Plague - Albert Camus Ulysees - James Joyce The Myth of Sissyphus - Albert Camus Nice. I would enjoy getting $267.81 to spend as I pleased. I've been reading a book called Wolverine: Election Day It's every bit as trite as the book cover and title. In two years, it will be so outdated (several mentions of DVD, for example) that it will be funny. Book's not great, but it's acceptable. Almost like a fan fiction, even featuring a character you could call a Mary Sue. More thoughts after finishing the book.

Yea, I went on a little bit of a binge, lol. Good stuff there. I've been meaning to read the Divine Comedy for a few years now, but things always get in the way. I also recently bought A Portrait of the Artist As A Young Man, the Kite Runner, that DMB book I mentioned in another post, and about 20 other books for around $0.50 each. ;D
