Rate 'em... THE BEATLES- LET IT BE (1970)[glow=red,2,300] 10/10[/glow] 1. Two of Us 2. Dig a Pony 3. Across the Universe 4. I Me Mine 5. Dig It 6. Let it Be 7. Maggie Mae 8. I've Got A Feeling 9. One After 909 10. The Long and Winding Road 11. For You Blue 12. Get Back An amazing album, obviously. Has the sound of a live record, which is obviously what they were going for. I would have switched The Long and Winding Road with Get Back, but that is too minor a quibble to detract from it's score.

ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN- CROCODILES (1980) [glow=red,2,300]10/10[/glow]1. Going Up 2. Stars Are Stars 3. Pride 4. Monkeys 5. Crocodiles 6. Rescue 7. Villiers Terrace 8. Pictures on My Wall 9. All That Jazz 10. Happy Death Man This is one of the best albums ever! Echo and the Bunnymen may be the most underrated band of all time. They obviously inspired bands like U2, The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, and more. Check this out. It's a perfect album.

System of a Down - Toxicity 10/10 This is my second favorite SoaD cd. And I have just listened to it 3 times in a row. It is perfect, there is not one bad song on the whole cd. Shimmy is a really good song that I had forgotten all about. If you haven't heard this cd go out a snag it, FANTASTIC.

Well Pearl Jam self title is the last one I listened too. I dont really listen to CDs much since I got an Ipod now. I would give Pearl Jam around a 9.7 or a 9.8. A great return to their roots.

Toxicity is a kickass album. Out of interest, what's your favourite SoaD album? I just listened to The Queen is Dead by The Smiths. 1. "The Queen Is Dead" - 6:24 2. "Frankly Mr. Shankly" - 2:17 3. "I Know It's Over" - 5:48 4. "Never Had No One Ever" - 3:36 5. "Cemetry Gates" - 2:39 6. "Bigmouth Strikes Again" - 3:12 7. "The Boy with the Thorn in His Side" - 3:15 8. "Vicar in a Tutu" - 2:21 9. "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" - 4:02 10. "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others" - 3:14 Sonic heaven. Whoever recommended this to me has my eternal respect (if only I knew who they were...) 10/10

Beck- Odelay[glow=red,2,300]10/10[/glow] 1. Devil's Haircut 2. Hotwax 3. Lord Only Knows 4. The New Pollution 5. Derelict 6. Novacane 7. Jack-Ass 8. Where It's At 9. Minus 10. Sissyneck 11. Readymade 12. High 5 (Rock the Catskills) 13. Ramshackle One of the best albums of the '90's. Beck's masterpiece, to be sure (although he is very consistant.) Devil's Haircut is an amazing song to start an album with. The whole album has many great songs. It has great replay value.

Toxicity is a kickass album. Out of interest, what's your favourite SoaD album? Well it's always changing between thier self-titled, Toxicity, and Mezmerize. At this moment the ranks go... 1. Mezmerize 2. Toxicity 3. Self-titled 4. Hypnotize 5. Steal this Album

The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions- 8/10 Just as much fun as I hoped it would be. Jorge's voice is clearly amazing, one of the most soothing I have ever heard. Even better if you are a huge fan of Bowie, which I am.

We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions- Bruce Springsteen 10/10 One of the best Cd of this decade. Its ironic that the best country Cd of the past ten years comes from Bruce. The songs are all infused with his spirit and the band bangs them home just as well as the E Street Band. BUY THIS NOW!!

Red Hot Chili Peppers- Stadium Arcadium (Disc One)[glow=red,2,300]10/10[/glow] DISC ONE (Jupiter) 1. Dani California 2. Snow ((Hey Oh)) 3. Charlie 4. Stadium Arcadium 5. Hump de Bump 6. She's Only 18 7. Slow Cheetah 8. Torture Me 9. Strip My Mind 10. Especially in Michigan 11. Warlocks 12. C'mon Girl 13. Wet Sand 14. Hey This is an AMAZING album so far. Not one bad song, not one mediocre song. This is all top notch. I'll give more thoughts when I listen to the other disc. If it keeps up, this might be one of the best albums of the past ten years...

The Ritual- Testament 7.5/10 Good band, but this is probably the worst record of theirs that I have heard. I'm not saying its bad, its good metal with some flashy soling. But, they sound like they were trying to make their version of Metallica's Black Album. Trying to make yourself more commercial is never good. That is why the band lost the best part of their band, their amazing guitarist, after this album.

Feel Like Shit Deja Vu Controlled by Hatred- Suicidal Tendencies 6/10 What happened here? This is a great band and this could have been a great album. But instead the vocals are simply buried under the guitar, drums, and bass. The songs are great technically, but the production hid the vocals. You can barely hear them. It could have something to do with the quality of the disc I got, its all scratched up. But, I have read similar complaints by other listeners. So, I do not believe that is the case.
