Have you seen Sonatine, Andrew? It's better than Zatoichi.

Thank You for Smoking--- 8/10 hilarious movie... I hate Katie Holmes though, purely on the fact that she gives birth to Tom Cruise's child

Yea, the good stuff goes out of Erie so fast. Like V is already gone from both there and the dollar theater. So is Lucky Number Slevin.

I don't think V has hit the dollar theater yet. Have you seen Inside Man? I think it's in the dollar theater.

Inside Man was good as well. I thought V for Vendetta was incredible though. It's in my top 20.

Dawn of the Dead smokes TCM, but it's still amazing. Just delete the last thing you say, and I`ll agree with you. Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, The Thing (1982), Suspiria, Halloween, Alien, The Shining, Psycho, The Birds, Exorsisten, Rosemary`s baby, just to name a few, all SMOKES TCM. Criterionmaster: At least don`t tell me you like it better than Trilogy of the Dead?

No I do not. Day of the Dead is my favorite of them. They are better than TCM if they are all together. TCM is just beyond great though.

I watched samurai: duel at Ichijoji temple. Well I watched about 70 mins of it them stopped as I have the most appalling dvd. Their is no sound, well their was for about the first 20 minutes but then it basically just cut out. You still know whats going on obviously, subtitles, but it made the film a hell of a lot less watchable. From what I did see, I quite liked it and found it a bit more engaging than the first one. Though their are some odd jumpy cuts in places and the overall print is very murky. Just its age I suppose. I may or may not finish watching as it just isn't that good with no sound as you can imagine.

Naked Lunch (Cronenberg, David 1991 IMDB) 7/10 The film was nothing special, it was just "eh." Some things I liked were some creative special effects and interesting scenes. But the film is very uneven and jumbled-like scenes that aren't that great. At least I was somewhat entertained by the film. If you like Cronenberg you should probably check it out at least. Even though it is the worst I have seen. Not worthy of Criterion imo, there are more deserving Cronenberg but who am I to judge. You can watch the film for yourself. But don't be expecting anything to great.

Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Edit Redux 2.1/10 This is one of the worst films of all time! It got point one because of the Redux. It got the 2 because of the battle at the end.
