Well the one I have (Special Edition OOP version) is quite good. Nice little documentary on there and extended Hoffman interviews. I am sure someday a better one will come out, but I am fine with mine that I got for $5 new at a Dollar General in Chicago. Anyways... Rented: Ratcatcher Gospel According to Saint Matthew Werckmeister Harmonies

Borrowed Unleased and March of the Penguins from a friend of mine. He told me the story behind getting March of the Penguins: he found a rental disc of it in the Safeway parking lot, ripped a copy of it, watched it, thought it was boring, and returned the original. Free rental.
I'm in the process of buying Enter the Dragon at Amazon for $14. I just can't decide what else to get there, in order to get free shipping.

Just bought 3 dvds, which ironically all start with the same letter.
Brazil (Criterion) Band of Outsiders (Criterion) Breathless
I'm going to begin getting into some Godard, finally. It's about time.

Enjoy! Three great films, the Godards being the much better of the three though.

I bought Sleeper [1973] by Woody Allen for just £5.99. I'm preparing for some laughs! I also bought Last Year At Marienbad [1961] for £8.99. I'm preparing for some awesomeness.

Yeah, the main reason I have this feeling is because of... John Leguizamo!

I bought Sleeper [1973] by Woody Allen for just £5.99. I'm preparing for some laughs! Well you'd better prepare, 'cuz the laughs come in bundles. I just watched it for the 1st time last night. Check out the "rate the last film you watched" thread for my thoughts. oh, and i just bought this, even though i already have the first release (yeah, i'm kinda obsessed):

You're right.
I hear the releases are even exactly the same, except for the contents and what's printed on the thinger.
What's especially strange to me is that they chose a cover (one against fifty+) that, while, unheard of over here in the States, is not unheard of outside of the States. Kung fu movies of all kinds, even The Man... Bruce Lee, have scenes with multiple-against-one fights. It's just common. Oh well.
So, um, yeah, I have the first edition. I know about all of the extras in this edition, and some sound pretty good. Was it worth it to buy it again?

Okay, to now come and totally crush Andruini's purchases with my own, I bought: Both completely free thanks to my awesome amount of Holiday Rewards money I had to Borders! I still have $7 left too!

All great purchases if my assumption of Dawn of the Dead being the original is true.

ie, there is a last BOOK you bought thread, and a last ALBUM you bought thread. Post those purchases there. Sure, but there was a DVD and I didn't feel like splitting up my post. It's just a habit from the old days; you'll get used to it after a while.
