I have to get some Bond movies soon! Seeings the new Bond film has rekindled my interest somewhat.
Today I finally bought Ong Bak. I borrowed it ages ago off a friend and still think about it. Its just so fucking entertaining!
Also got american dad series one which many family guy fans will slag off. I think at times it is funnier than family guy despite being essentially the same thing with different character models.

I actually have to agree with you, while I hate both shows, I sometimes actually laugh at American Dad, whereas I rarely laugh at new Family Guy.

family guy was once one of my favorites, but with how its changed to reflect its popularity, the words of one Eric Cartman can't ring more true: it's just a bunch of random jokes that have nothing to do with the plot. but i do like american dad, though...
unlike family guy, and even more drastically the simpsons, South Park has actually gotten better with age. this past season may have been the best.

Simpsons is just as good as it once was for me, and so is South Park (in my opinion). Both are among the only good shows on TV.

YES! I love American Dad! FG is good but as people have said, the new episodes are weaker and it seems that most fans will laugh at it just because it is Family Guy. For example, EVERY Monday at school one of my friend's said "Did you see Family Guy last night?" and every day my answer is "No" and every day his response is "Oh man, it was wicked funny." and he laughs at it "just because." Now, I like FG too, don't get me wrong, but the older episodes were better. American Dad! on the other hand is consistently funny. It has balls and isn't afraid to go into territory other shows don't dare go to. Sometimes it has things on it that make you say "You can't do that!" and then laugh at it.
Oh and the new 007 sets are amazing! I haven't watched any of them yet but I watched the Lowry featurette on the discs (Lowry does the restoration if you didn't know) and they showed clips of what the movies used to look like and how they look after the restoration. They are unbelievable! They seriously look as if they were made four months ago, like they weren't made in the 60's but only take place there. They went frame by frame on all 20 Bond films (they obviously didn't do Casino Royale) and it is an amazing achievement.

My brother AKA The Anti-Snob got Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest for Christmas from one of his friends, even though he liked the movie about as much as I do. (He hated it)

Bought: Mystery Train Narc Blade Runner Badlands I've seen badlands, but not the others Narc was, for me, a surprisingly effective "cop-thriller/drama", and it had some nice emotional value as well as suspense. I will not go deeper into what makes it a great film in my eyes, though (Your expectations shouldn't be too high).

I bought Last days by Van Sant. I rented it ages ago. It was very very boring in places, though I appreciate that this is an intentional factor within the film, similar to elephant. I found it to be an incredibly absorbing and melancholy little film experience but I doubt its going to win many fans. It is very, very boring but intentionally. Not by mistake. In my opinion that is. Still a very good film i though, despite my comment.

I went to Costco today, and my parent ended up getting these. Not technically mine, but I can still watch them and such: Walk The Line: The Special Delux Shirt And Belt Buckle Edition SNL: Complete First Season - wow, eight discs in one box I'm going to have to check out the SNL episodes, even though I haven't been much of a fan to be honest. I've been kind of curious in watching Walk the Line for a while now. So, good developments.
