As I said earlier, I am going to that Lamb of God/Machine Head concert tomorrow in Toledo, and it is going to be sick as fuck, but I am also, out of the kindness of my heart, taking blackmoses too, even though I am regretting it. Here is the line-up: I will come back with thoughts, but I won't be on probably at all tomorrow. Oh yeah, I am skipping school for this too!! yea boi!

Just got back from a St. Patrick's Day celebration which was totally ROCKING. We don't really celebrate this holiday, it's just an excuse to, well... drink Guinness, I guess. On the line-up: The Spoofs Jim Neversink: The Hellphones: I almost died, it was that good.

The Lamb of God, Machine Head concert was the most insane thing of all time! Every band was fantastic and the pits were SO fucking nuts! Easily my favorite concert I have ever been to.

My Chemical Romance were amazing. A great show I though. They played all of the new album and then started from im not okay and played 6 other songs from three cheers. Very good gig, even better than Lostprophets were I think

I am going to a concert monday, a local show, with two bands I already saw last local show, Hand in Hand and She's in Pain. I really look forward to it, and I will come back with thoughts after I go.

I went to see Jim Neversink last night, but only because The Diesel Whores were up! OH MY WORD! Diesel Whore: someone who would sleep with you for a good pair of shoes, but not for money.
The Diesel Whores are the bastard offspring of an unholy union between Jimmy Swaggart and Betty Page. They combine furious country licks and twisted rockabilly beats with dark tales of lust, murder and betrayal to form their signature sound.
The Diesel Whores formed in Johannesburg in November 2000. Notorious for their furious live shows and outspokenness, they have earned a hard won reputation as one of South Africa's best underground bands.
They started work on the follow up to their debut album The Fear in May. Tentatively titled The Year of The Horse the new album is due out around the end of 2006.www.myspace.com/dieselwhores Anyone who doesn't listen to/dislikes this music can suck my metaphorical dick. (There are only three songs, try to listen to at least The Fear or Cocaine, and since you've listened to one just do yourself a favour and listen to the other two as well.) It was rawking! I hurt my foot in the moshpit.

Ahhhh gross Dah-han! I would've been crushed like that at Metallica last year, but at least I was surrounded with guys from my school, they were very protective over me because things were getting a bit out of hand but I refused to get out. I was lucky!
I think I did break my toe last week, though, at that gig I went to (don't even ask me how, I don't know).

I saw lostprophets on Sunday at wembley. They were really excellent, even better than in december. They even played fresh prince of bel air! Very random and cool. The pit at the end during the song shinobi was gigantic, very fun I got the best crowd surf ever as well! In the song can't catch tomorrow I must have surfed for more than 10 meters and got over the barrier at the front, only to be pulled out by annoyed security guards. Was fantastic! Taking back sunday were the support. They were shit actually, I was a little disappointed. Aiden supported as well. They were a bit better, highlight songs being die romantic and I set my friends on fire Overall a great gig, bring on the used on friday!

My god! yesterday I was one lucky motherfucker to score a ticket at this little club that only holds 700 people in London called the Scala to see lostprophets. The pit in this place was about 10 meters big! We were only 5 or so meters away from the stage. It was simply incredible! Great set list and they played 3 new songs for the first time ever! Also got a t-shirt, only 700 printed, so thats pretty rare! A truly special night, best gig ever maybe....

My comment on the Give it a name music festival. Earls courst London. Copied from a myspace bulletin I did.... Err ok so, I'll start with Friday and include comments on the music as well as anything that was amusing or whatever. The first couple of bands were shit, for lack of a better word. The only thought running through my head while the amazonian looking mess of a woman Juliette Lewis (and her great band the licks....) were playing was that she had possibly the tiniest tits I'd ever set eyes upon and that she didn't look anything like she did in Natural Born Killers So err yeah, that was poor. The first decent band was Mindless Self Indulgence. What a crazy band! 2 women in it including their drummer. The frontman, who walked onto the stage in a cape that said crap on the back, has like the coolest voice! High low, noises, whatever. Entertaining to bounce around to! The best band of Friday was the Used by a fair stride. The take it away mosh was exhilerating and they sounded good live. Taste of Ink was coolest though I thought. Their set finished to quickly though because the pricks of HIM were headliners. Note that 80% of people went home when the used were done. Vill Valo was drunk so the set was worse than it would have been if he was sober. He was actually making up the words as he went along at one point. (Sam said) We only stayed because Tahlia wanted to...the set scored points though because i shouted abuse really loudly. Sorry if I sound a nob about this but I'm quite proud of it. First when it quietened down I shouted 'fucking prick' which came out so loudly it echoed an insy bit. Just to say i didn't realise I could shout so loudly and I was just so angry that a piss poor bands frontman had the audacity to come onstage as headliners and be tipsy. The next insult I threw...(lol) was 'you drunken cunt.' And Mr Valo responded to this one! Saying something like 'at least these people at the front have proper musical taste' he then went onto say 'you're very clever' or something like that. I was well pleased he heard lol. Yup so thats fruday. Arm hurt lots... Saturday So was what you may call the jizz bill, or at least what I've decided to call it here Meaning great, super duper sweet etc... We missed much of opening act zico chains set. Not a great loss. Then kids in glasss houses were up. A so so band I think, but I know there are some lovers out there! Then Madina Lake. Who have been hyped to the ceiling. This turned out to be one of the days best sets. I thought they performed well and I love their songs basically. Here I stand and house of cards were very good and it a fun bounce around the crowd. Next up was Kevin Devine on the side stage was Kevin Devine with his friends Brand New. Yeah, I didn't realise either! I didn't mind his set and was surprised that people stood and listened. Where we stood though it stank of green which I didn't like very much, drugs gross me out nowadays actually. Someobdy thre a can aimed at him during his set. Picked it up and commented that no soda (generated laughs) had been left in the can. Then he totally dissed this person and said you're a fucking prick for doing that. Major respect to him for that. Then as his set wound down he was all self effacing and said I'll be playing some smaller places where this shit is better. Or something like that, I felt sorry for him and went awww lol Next up was senses fail on the mainstage. Tie her down and irony of dying on your birthday were both excellent. Crowd was a bit annoying though, just crushed the whole time really, bit painful it 'twas. Zebrahead next on sidestage. They were, to me, like a funner version of bowling for soup. They didn't play subtract you though But Playmate of the year was fun. It wasn't the funnest time though because I wasn't in their with anyone, just me, it was a bit sad, but I still enjoyed it! And they made us sit down, that was funky! Enter Shitshikari were on the main next. I took a piss and a long walk at this point. I've tried to like them but just can't. I noticed that one of the guys was wearing adidas shorts for fucks sake. Posing scene band says i! Next saosin on side stage. Pretty boring really. You're not alone was mediocre at best. Next Motion City on the main. I was pretty amazed by them. Singer sounds great, pretty similar to cd. Didn't play when you're around though but I suppose that slot in the set was filled by a new song they played. Someone chucked most of a pint on me though so I got sticky and smelt of beer for a while, bit annoying. Cute were heading on the side stage next. I was a little disappointed. The set was poor. Newport Living probably the best they played. Their frontman was a bit of a nob as well which downs my view of a band. Newfound glory next on the main. I thought they were nearly awful. I was really looking forward to them but most stuff they played was just incomprehensible noise. All down hill from here was alright but that was their final song. All American Rejects were next on the main! What i'd been waiting for really. They didn't disappoint. The crowd was brilliant, they were brilliant, set order was great, interaction with the crowd and stage personality great. I just loved them. And such a regular in the garage type band appearance wise. I really dont think ive even shouted as loudly as I did to the lyrics of the likes of swing, swing and dirty little secret. Truly a life affirmingly amazing set. I like this more than my chem and more the ANY times I've seen lostprophets. It was just too perfect. My opinion Stevens, sorry, but its true! Finally brand new were up. I couldn't really make any of the words out so we left soon after they started. I wish that AAR had headlined and motion city had have come before them. Sunday Little bit pointless going really, 30 quid spent for quite a small amount of gratification. Hit the lights were pretty good, I loved bodybag and speakers blown. MxPx were alright. Boys like girls were the surprise of the day. They were fun and had a nice attitude. Didn't stay for hellogoodbye or anything after. Tiredness had set in. Lots of free highs going on this day by the by So yeah, that is that. My view I missed out comment on some bands but hey, if I didn't mention them, I didn't like them much. I hope you enjoyed reading this...if you did. Clearly a better read than the review Stevens will put up xx
