A Bigger Bang is alright, decent enough for a later Stones effort.
That seems like a pretty good live compilation, though I remember the songs with Morrison being pretty awful.

I'm going to try Real Gone once and if it doesn't impress me, I'm not going to rate it. I've heard it's really hard to get into, so I'd rather not spoil it, but at the same time, as long as I don't grade it, therefore deciding how I feel about it, then there's no harm. I need to hear more Hooker. We all know Boogie Chillen and Boom Boom, but I want to check out the Real Folk Blues collections, for not so obvious reasons. Haven't got into classical much yet, but Glenn Gould is showing me around the place. And with Jazz, sir Rahsaan Roland Kirk is there to help.

I'm having another decent surge into the jazz genre. I heard Chet Baker and Charlie Parker a while back, really enjoying both so I'm now finding moooooor....mooooore ;D Same story with classical really. I've heard some various bits and bobs now I want to hone in on a few composers.

Oh yeah, then you definitely need to check out Rahsaan Roland Kirk's material. I started out with nonfiction's recommendation of the Inflated Tear and he suggested I check out Blacknuss next. It's too early to say that he WAS jazz, but it's too late not to say so.

Borrowed: DMB - Everyday Paul McCartney - Ram Rob Zombie - Educated Horses (I wasn't expecting much, but liked it well enough) Rollins Band - Weight U2 - Joshua Tree Warren Zevon - The Wind
I also have a couple waiting for me at the library, including, off-hand, Blacknuss and Brainwashed.

Eh, Everyday is a pretty weak DMB album. If you didn't like their previous stuff, you probably are really not gonna like Everyday, ie.

Oh, okay. I wasn't able to find A Bigger Bang when I tried looking for it recently, but I'm sure it's there... hiding somewhere... I'll give Everyday a shot, after I check out Crash. If none of the tracks really do anything for me, then I won't really worry about it or anything. edit: If I were less tech savvy, I'd say Crash crashed. Either way, it's not working, so looks like I'll just have to get it from the library.

Along with my charity shop book buys I got the best of Bach and this Mozart cd in this cool slipcase that's just titled Mozart - musical masterpieces. Both cd's were just £0.95 so again, very good ;D

A local pawn shop I've never been to before has $0.25 CDs. I looked through them and none really seemed interesting, but should I drop a couple bucks and see what I get?

^That is what the person who gave me (my cousin) the album said. She said she hated their first album but that the new one sounds like The Beatles. I still haven't taken the covering off yet...

Yea, I saw that at Borders and on Itunes. I'll pick it up when I have the funds.
The album is fantastic by the way, I've listened to it about four times since I picked it up.

Good luck with that! Today I bought Back to Black, i've spent far too long wondering what Amy Winehouses other music is like (besides 'rehab'), and I want to hear it! Also I bought, after seeing a favourable tv ad , A cd by a woman called Beth Rowley, the album is called little dreamer. It's blues stuff.
