Alright, this album set my standard for The Boss. He showed all of his styles here. You can feel the jazz in songs like "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" and in parts of "Jungleland." You can here Springsteen's rich, soulful voice in "Thunder Road" and "Backstreets." You can here the heavy rocking in "Born to Run" and "Night." And lastly, you can feel the burden in "Meeting Across the River." I think Born to Run is underrated, overlooked, and not listened to enough. You look at the tracks and you see two great hits, "Thunder Road" and "Born to Run." You don't look deep into the heart of the album. And I think the heart and soul of this album is wrapped up in one word: "Jungleland." That song is a musical masterpiece. From "Jungleland's" masterful lyrics to it's soothing saxophone solos, this song is beautiful. This album is easily a ten.

My favourite Bob Dylan album was Time Out of Mind... Blonde on Blonde is my second. They are both really nice. The last album I listened to was Antony and The Johnsons, I'd give it hundreds out of ten if I could, it's the most beautiful album I've ever listened to. The last album before that was The Real Estate Agents (untitled), it was okay, I give it about 8/10. It gets repetitive, but it has a few great tracks on it. EDIT: My Antony and The Johnsons cd is called I'm A Bird Now (2005) EDIT (again): The Real Estate Agents, if you'd like to know more. They're South African.

In the past few days: Times Makin' Changes-Best of Tesla 8/10 Not much of a hair band, more of a arena rock blues band. Some good stuff, some bad stuff. I would never buy an actual record by these guys so the best of does the trick
Endless Wire-The Who 9/10 Great comeback. Daltrey can still really sing, Pete can still write and goddamn can Pino play the bass. Its missing Keith in spots, but overall, still a great effort.
Quadrophenia-The Who 10/10 Does anything really need to be said? Probably the Who's best record.

The Commitments soundtrack - 9/10
YAY! So fun! I just want to see the movie now... Haha I know, that's kind of backwards, but oh well...

Bloc Party-A Weekend in the City 8/10 Great stuff, not as good as Silent Alarm of course. But you can't expect it to be. Its dark, its moody, and its catchy. The perfect combination.

Nice thoughts, captures that album (one of my favorites ever made) so well. *sarcasm* At least you liked the album, I think.
I have about 20 albums I need to grade, I will grade them some at a time over the next couple of days.

I like people to say their thoughts about stuff, especially if it is something I love, and not just a number rating. He doesn't have to write thoughts, I guess, but after hearing that album I don't know how you could just give a basically meaningless rating without even a single word said about it.

Like i said, just ask me to write thoughts. How is a grade meaningless? So if i gave it a 3 or a 10 that would be meaningless? No. Big difference there. A ten means it is a masterpiece. A 3 means it is not good. There are my thoughts. Ten means I think it is a masterpiece. Meaningless is you being mad about me not saying thoughts about something when you can easily just ask me to give thoughts, which I have told you before you can do.

Grades are meaningless because they don't tell anything about how someone really feels about a movie. They are just numbers. You can give anything a number, but how do you truly feel about it. It is easy for me to see/listen to something that is supposed to be good and then say “10/10!”, but it is not easy to actually give your real thoughts. Please don't respond to me. PLEASE.

Rush-Moving Pictures 10/10 I really forgot how great this was. Powerful riffs backed by virtuoso bass and drum performances. Not to mention some of the greatest hooks ever. Probably one of my top ten favorite albums of all time.

Arcade Fire-Neon Bible 9/10 I was much more impressed with this effort than I was with Funeral. Sonic excellence with soothing melodies and haunting rhythms. It ain't a masterpiece, but it is a good listen.

"THE REAL ESTATE AGENTS want to sell you a dodgy house, so dodgy it's not house at all - it's brokenbeat glitchkwaito from another planet, and the lowslung funk sound that's been the discovery of Cape Town summer 2003. THE REAL ESTATE AGENTS are comprised of CONSTRUCTUS CORPORATION collaborators SIBOT and MARKUS WORMSTORM. They perform live on Final Scratch turntables, sampler and cdj's - a comedy-sampleheavy dancefloor mush-up of ingenious hiphop, electronica and squelchy phat dub beats." africandope.co.za

Modest Mouse- We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank- 10/10 Fantastic album. Marr is a very good addition to the band. I think that they actually accomplished what they were trying for on Good News..., which seemed to make a more catchy, almost pop rock ablum. Here, though, they married it with their style better, and the outcome is maybe Modest Mouse's best album yet (still has some big competition with the Moon and Antartica). I didn't hate their last album, but it was a disappointment. This, on the other hand, is a triumph.

BlondeRedhead - 23 10/10
I've officially listened to this record 25 times, and its my all time favorite chill music, replacing Nick Drakes "Five Leaves Left" 4-year long lead in the 'albums to fall asleep to everynight' catagory. I cant believe they went from Sonic Youth to this, which is going from great to great essentially.
